The 15th International Conference on Communications and Network Security (ICCNS 2025) Successfully Held by School of Computer Science
December 22, 2025. Hosted by Northeast Electric Power University (NEEPU) and organized by its School of Computer Science, with the collaboration of Guangxi University and Beijing University of Technology, the 15th International Conference on Communications and Network Security (ICCNS 2025) took place at the Academic Center of NEEPU from December 19 to 21, 2025.
Distinguished guests including Prof. Xianbin Wang (IEEE Fellow, EIC Fellow, Canadian Academy of Engineering, Western University Canada), Prof. Nan Zhao (National Young Talent, IEEE ComSoc Outstanding Young Scholar for the Asia-Pacific, Dalian University of Technology), Prof. Meng Zhang (National Young Talent, Xi'an Jiaotong University), Prof. Yao Yu (Northeastern University) and Prof. Dongfeng Yang (Vice President of NEEPU) attended the opening ceremony.
In his speech at the opening ceremony, Vice President Dongfeng Yang emphasized that communications and network security have become a core cornerstone for the global transformation of old and new growth drivers amid the in-depth development of the digital economy. The conference, themed "Communications and Network Security", aimed to pool global wisdom to address challenges and boost industrial innovation and digital transformation.
Focusing on cutting-edge directions such as 6G, low-altitude communications, intelligent trust, data privacy and IoT security, the conference featured 4 keynote speeches and 5 special sub-forums, attracting over 180 experts and scholars from universities, research institutes and enterprises at home and abroad. Renowned scholars delivered keynote reports on topics like intelligent trust in the 6G and generative AI era, low-altitude covert communication, bio-inspired converged networks and reinforcement learning-driven power system control. The conference was presided over by Prof. Jianpo Li, Dean of the School of Computer Science of NEEPU.
